According to Newsmax: Four officials said the USS Boxer Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and its 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) have been deployed ahead of schedule from the U.S. West Coast and are expected to sail directly to the Middle East via the Indo-Pacific region; the U.S. Department of Defense had previously ordered the U.S. Navy to send additional firepower to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility near Iran.
