At the opening of the morning session, domestic futures contracts showed mixed performance. Coking coal rose over 9%, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), ethylene glycol, and butadiene rubber rose over 6%, methanol, plastics, and container shipping to Europe rose over 5%, and coke and polypropylene rose nearly 5%. On the downside, platinum, palladium, silver, and gold fell over 5%.
