On March 23, Beijing’s market regulators, together with the city’s commerce and
culture-tourism bureaus, summoned 12 platform companies—including Ctrip, Qunar,
Amap, JD, Taobao Flash Sale, Meituan, Fliggy, Tongcheng Travel, Tujia, Xiaozhu,
Douyin and Kuaishou—highlighting the first batch of issues identified in the
crackdown on “cutthroat” platform competition and issuing rectification
requirements, CCTV reported.
