Israel has pivoted its air campaign from targeting Iran’s regime to systematically degrading its military-industrial base, striking missile, drone and naval production sites after more than 18,000 U.S.-Israel attacks. The shift reflects expectations President Donald Trump may soon push to end the war. Israeli officials assess Iran’s capabilities have been significantly reduced, though not eliminated. Farzin Nadimi, senior fellow at the Washington Institute, said, “It looks like it’s moving…to reduce Iran’s military capabilities before they call it a day,” adding strikes have been “very systematic and meticulous.”
