China’s Ministry of Commerce said it has initiated two trade barriers
investigations into US practices, citing evidence that US actions in trade,
technology exports and investment restrictions are disrupting global industrial
and supply chains. The ministry said the measures may harm Chinese firms’ trade
interests and could violate WTO rules and bilateral economic agreements.
The investigations will focus on US actions affecting global supply chains and
barriers to green product trade, with further steps to be taken based on the
findings, the ministry added.
