Alibaba's T-Head semiconductor arm said its SSD controller chip “Zhenyue 510”
has surpassed 500,000 cumulative shipments, making it one of the
highest-shipping domestic storage controller chips in China, according to
disclosures at the 2026 CFMS Flash Memory Summit.
The chip has already been deployed at scale in core workloads at Alibaba Cloud,
while multiple storage vendors including Memblaze, Biwin Storage and Changjiang
Wanrun Semiconductor Technology have launched SSD products based on the chip.
