Chinese photovoltaic cell process equipment and solutions provider LAPLACE
Renewable Energy Technology(688726.SH) has won the second phase of Tesla’s solar
project, with an order size reported at nearly 10 billion yuan, according to
Cailian Press.
Earlier reports suggested Tesla planned to purchase about US$2.9 billion worth
of solar manufacturing equipment from China. Based on 2025 results, Laplace
posted revenue of 5.45 billion yuan and net profit of 612 million yuan. The new
order is estimated to account for about 183% of its 2025 revenue and could more
than double annual profit.
Following the news, the company’s A-share stock hit the 20% daily limit up.
