At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts declined, with Shanghai silver falling over 3%, platinum falling nearly 3%, palladium, Shanghai tin, and caustic soda falling over 2%, and synthetic rubber and glass falling over 1%. On the upside, bottled chip futures rose over 3%, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and PTA rose nearly 3%, and methanol and manganese silicon rose nearly 2%.
