The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics revised January's nonfarm payrolls figure upward to 160,000 from an increase of 126,000; February's figure was revised downward to a decrease of 133,000 from a decrease of 92,000. The revised figures show that the combined increase in January and February was 7,000 lower than the original figures.
