At the close of the morning session, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Cotton, soybean oil, and cotton yarn rose by more than 2%, while platinum, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), eggs, stainless steel, corn, palm oil, and fiberboard rose by more than 1%. On the downside, container shipping to Europe and caustic soda fell by more than 4%, ethylene glycol, PVC, and coking coal fell by more than 3%, and BR rubber, PTA, staple fiber, styrene, bottled glass, and coke fell by more than 2%.
