According to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), in the week ending April 7, speculators increased their net short positions in CBOT U.S. 2-year Treasury futures by 74,691 contracts to 1,712,015 contracts, reduced their net short positions in U.S. 5-year Treasury futures by 33,911 contracts to 1,552,929 contracts, increased their net short positions in U.S. 10-year Treasury futures by 39,561 contracts to 823,624 contracts, and reduced their net short positions in ultra-long-term Treasury futures by 7,746 contracts to 260,383 contracts.
