Alibaba Cloud announced changes to DataWorks API usage policies, including removing daily call limits for Standard and Pro users and introducing monthly free quotas with pay-as-you-go billing beyond limits. Standard edition users will receive 100,000 free API calls per month, while Pro users will receive 500,000. Usage beyond these thresholds will be billed via OpenAPI pay-as-you-go pricing. Basic and Enterprise editions remain unchanged, and QPS limits are unchanged. The rollout will begin on April 14, 2026, and take full effect across all regions by April 23.
