China’s major futures contracts were mixed at the morning close, with PX rising
more than 4%. Nickel, lithium carbonate, tin, PTA and palladium gained over 2%,
while PET flakes, copper and international copper rose more than 1%.
On the downside, the container freight index (Europe route), asphalt and
low-sulfur fuel oil fell more than 2%, while palm oil, LPG and PVC declined over
1%.
