China’s top statistical bureau said prices of newly built residential homes in first-tier cities rose 0.2% month-on-month in March, reversing a flat reading in the prior month. Beijing was unchanged, while Shanghai and Guangzhou each rose 0.3% and Shenzhen gained 0.2%. Prices of second-hand homes in first-tier cities increased 0.4% month-on-month, also reversing a 0.1% decline previously. By city, Beijing rose 0.6%, Shanghai 0.4%, Guangzhou 0.2% and Shenzhen 0.4%.
