U.S. Central Command: On April 16, the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) was conducting a U.S. blockade operation in the Arabian Sea. The ship's air wing, consisting of eight F-35C stealth fighters, F/A-18 fighters, EA-18G electronic attack aircraft, E-2D command and control aircraft, MH-60 helicopters, and CMV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft, was used for logistical support.
