According to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), in the week ending April 14, speculators reduced their net short positions in U.S. 2-year Treasury futures by 8,209 contracts to 1,703,806 contracts. They increased their net short positions in U.S. 5-year Treasury futures by 72,816 contracts to 1,625,745 contracts. They reduced their net short positions in U.S. 10-year Treasury futures by 23,259 contracts to 800,365 contracts.
