Vice President JD Vance will participate in additional White House policy
meetings as uncertainty surrounds his planned departure for Islamabad, according
to sources familiar with the discussions. Vance had been expected to leave
Tuesday morning, but timing remains unclear. A key issue is whether Iran will
attend a second round of talks in Pakistan; as of late Tuesday morning, Tehran
had not committed to sending officials.
