China’s hog supply-demand balance is gradually improving, with prices
stabilizing, a vice agriculture minister said at a briefing.
The national breeding sow inventory has declined for nine consecutive months,
while the number of newborn piglets fell year-on-year in March for the first
time in 17 months, signaling easing supply pressures.
