In an interview with Fox News today (April 26), US President Donald Trump stated that if Iran wishes to negotiate an end to the war between the two countries, it should contact the United States. Trump said, "If they want to talk, they can come to us or call us. We have very good, very secure lines." Regarding the nuclear issue, Trump stated that the US will address the issue of Iranian nuclear materials in the negotiations, making it one of the key topics. He also expressed hope that Iran would "make a wise choice." Furthermore, Trump reiterated his dissatisfaction with allies, stating that NATO "has not stood with the United States" on the Iran issue, and mentioned that Britain's plans to send ships after the war were "not ideal."
