Iranian lawmaker Fadahossein Maleki said security in the Sea of Oman and Persian
Gulf would be affected if Iran’s coastal security is threatened. He accused the
US of blocking negotiations and violating a ceasefire through actions including
a naval blockade. Maleki added Iran has full control over the Strait of Hormuz
and “did not seek negotiations or a ceasefire.”
