At midday closing, most domestic futures contracts rose, with propylene, nickel, and urea rising over 3%, alumina and fuel oil rising nearly 3%, and ethylene glycol (EG), polypropylene (PP), PX, asphalt, and bottled chips rising over 2%. On the downside, polysilicon fell nearly 7%, and synthetic rubber and live hogs fell nearly 2%.
