At midday closing, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Bottled PET rose nearly 7%, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) rose over 6%, fuel oil rose over 5%, asphalt rose over 4%, and methanol, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), SC crude oil, ethylene glycol (EG), and polypropylene (PP) rose over 3%. On the downside, silver fell nearly 4%, glass fell over 3%, and palladium, zinc, platinum, and polysilicon fell over 2%.
