Japanese Minister of Economic Revitalization Ryomachi Akazawa: I met with the Australian Foreign Minister today. Our two countries have a long history of cooperation in energy security and hope to further strengthen our relationship across various industries as “special strategic partners.” Therefore, I requested that we continue to create a highly predictable investment environment so as not to dampen the investment intentions of Japanese companies.
