China’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has established an expert
advisory committee on pork industry monitoring and early warning, aiming to
strengthen supply-demand oversight and policy coordination.
Officials said the move comes as structural changes in the hog market make
capacity regulation more necessary. The committee will help improve data
quality, enhance market analysis, and strengthen guidance through more
authoritative early-warning signals to support stable sector development.
