Longi Green Energy Technology aims to grow its energy storage business to a size
comparable with its solar segment within about five years, Chairman Zhong
Baoshen said. The push comes as the company reported a fifth consecutive
quarterly net loss. China’s solar sector continues to struggle, with peers
including JA Solar, Jinko Solar, Tongwei and Trina Solar also remaining in the
red despite efforts to consolidate and diversify.
