Microsoft Corp. reported fiscal third-quarter revenue of $82.9 billion, above the $81.5 billion analyst estimate, with earnings of $4.27 per share versus $4.03 expected. Its Azure cloud unit grew 39% on a currency-adjusted basis, slightly ahead of the 38% consensus, reflecting strong demand for AI-related cloud services. Capital expenditure reached $31.9 billion, below expectations of $35.3 billion, indicating constraints in data center expansion. Shares rose about 2% in after-hours trading following the report. Microsoft continues expanding AI commercialization through Azure and Copilot while facing concerns over adoption and Office business durability.
