South Korean Foreign Minister: We are deeply shocked by the explosion and fire that occurred yesterday in the Strait of Hormuz involving our vessel.
Following the incident, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs convened a countermeasures meeting and is working with relevant departments to ensure the safety of the crew while simultaneously working to determine the cause of the accident. In this process, we are also maintaining close communication with relevant countries.
We will carefully implement all available options to ensure the safe return of our vessel and crew.
