Oil markets came under pressure as a US–Iran ceasefire appeared to hold, ING’s
commodities strategy team said. President Donald Trump said “great progress” has
been made toward a “complete and final agreement” with Iran. ING noted that any
deal restoring normal oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz is key for supply
stability.
