At midday closing, most domestic futures contracts rose. Fuel oil rose over 4%, while eggs, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), lithium carbonate, container shipping to Europe, and styrene (EB) rose over 3%. SC crude oil, PX, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) rose over 2%, and soybean meal and polypropylene (PP) rose nearly 2%. On the downside, polysilicon fell over 4%, ferrosilicon and caustic soda fell over 2%, and palladium fell over 1%.
