At the close of the morning session, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Shanghai silver rose over 6%, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) rose over 5%, and platinum, Shanghai copper, international copper, fuel oil, and low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) rose over 2%. On the downside, polysilicon fell over 4%, industrial silicon, coking coal, and caustic soda fell over 2%, and live pigs, alumina, and palm oil fell over 1%.
