On the morning of May 14, President Xi Jinping held talks with US President Donald Trump at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, who was on a state visit to China. Xi Jinping pointed out that both sides should implement the important consensus reached and further utilize political and diplomatic channels, as well as communication channels between the two militaries. They should also expand exchanges and cooperation in areas such as trade, health, agriculture, tourism, culture, and law enforcement.
