Vladimir Putin is expected to visit Beijing on May 20, days after the summit
between Xi Jinping and Donald Trump, according to the South China Morning Post.
The reported one-day trip would mark Putin’s first overseas visit this year and
underscore deepening China-Russia ties as both nations seek closer coordination
against the US-led global order. China has remained a key economic partner for
Moscow amid Western sanctions related to the Ukraine war.
