At midday closing, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) rose nearly 7%, SC crude oil rose over 6%, container shipping to Europe, synthetic rubber, and fuel oil rose over 4%, pure benzene rose nearly 3%, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), methanol, PX, and styrene (EB) rose over 2%. On the downside, Shanghai silver fell over 8%, apples fell nearly 3%, and Shanghai tin, coking coal, and platinum fell over 2%.
