Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov said Russian President Vladimir Putin will arrive in
China on May 19, with official talks including a meeting with Chinese President
Xi Jinping began the following morning. Ushakov said the Russian delegation
will include senior officials and executives from major companies and banks,
including Rosneft, Gazprom and Novatek, with detailed discussions on the Power
of Siberia 2 pipeline planned. He added the visit was arranged in advance and
was unrelated to Donald Trump’s China trip.
