At the opening of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts rose, with container shipping contracts for Europe up over 2%, SC crude oil, asphalt, and fuel oil up nearly 2%, and low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), rapeseed oil, polypropylene (PP), and methanol up over 1%. On the downside, Shanghai silver fell over 3%, palladium and platinum fell over 2%, lithium carbonate fell nearly 2%, and Shanghai tin fell over 1%.
