The UK Government: We today introduced new and strengthened sanctions targeting oil and gas, including an immediate ban on a range of refined petroleum products, paraffin wax, naphtha, and lubricants. In some areas, these new measures will be rolled out gradually over the coming months to manage market stability risks, similar to previous sanctions. It would be a complete mistake to say we are lifting any sanctions. We are strengthening sanctions.
