At midday closing, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Coking coal and coke hit their daily limit up, while ferrosilicon, manganese silicon, and soda ash rose by more than 3%, and wire rod, silver, and glass rose by more than 2%. On the downside, fuel oil fell by more than 7%, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) and SC crude oil fell by more than 6%, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and paraxylene fell by more than 4%, and bottled PET chips, benzene, PTA, asphalt, and methanol fell by more than 3%.
