At midday closing, most domestic futures contracts declined, with lithium carbonate down 4%, styrene (EB) and SC crude oil down over 3%, and benzene, ferrosilicon, live pigs, polypropylene, rebar, and caustic soda down over 2%. On the upside, coking coal and alumina rose over 5%, red dates rose nearly 3%, coke rose over 2%, and eggs, zinc, and cotton rose over 1%.
