It will be Samsung's first chip test plant in Vietnam, focusing on mature chips; planned annual capacity 153.3 bln Gb DRAM and 255.6 bln Gb NAND. Investment was approved by Vietnamese authorities in March; Samsung may allocate up to $2.5 bln of project profits toward a potential second plant.
