Local time May 27, 2026, in New York, CHINA FOREIGN MINISTER WANG YI met with
Serbian Foreign Minister Djuric. WANG YI said China firmly supports Serbia in
safeguarding its national sovereignty and territorial integrity and praised
Serbia for adhering to the One‑China principle. He said that in the next phase
the key tasks for both sides are to implement the consensus reached by the two
heads of state, deepen exchanges at all levels, advance construction of the
Hungary‑Serbia railway, expand cooperation in artificial intelligence, new
energy and other fields, strengthen coordination and cooperation at the UN and
other platforms, and push forward building a China‑Serbia community with a
shared future in the new era.
