At the close of the morning session, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Shanghai silver fell over 4%, platinum fell nearly 4%, palladium fell over 3%, Shanghai gold fell nearly 3%, and urea, aluminum, nickel, and tin all fell over 1%. On the upside, PTA rose nearly 3%, paraxylene, coking coal, staple fiber, and coking coal rose over 2%, and bottled chip, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and rapeseed oil rose nearly 2%.
