According to Wuxi Daily, on May 27 China Aero‑Engine Corporation (AECC) unveiled
its System Airborne Industry Common Technology and Capability Center in Wuxi.
Wuxi Party Secretary Du Xiaogang and MAYOR Jiang Feng held talks with AECC
Chairman Zhang Yujin and Vice General Manager Deng Zhiwei and jointly witnessed
the Wuxi municipal government and the AECC Control System Research Institute
signing a strategic cooperation agreement. The new center will act as AECC’s
lead and enabling institutions for expanding incremental business in the system
airborne industry. Under the strategic pact, Wuxi city and the AECC research
institute will deepen cooperation on industrial layout, ecosystem building,
platform construction and talent attraction and development to help establish a
civil aviation airborne and propulsion systems industry hub with significant
influence.
