Trump has refiled a $10 billion defamation suit against the Wall Street Journal
and parent News Corp over a WSJ report linking him closely to Jeffrey Epstein.

allege the reporting was made with "actual malice" — the high legal threshold
for defamation claims involving public figures. The suit targets a Wall Street
Journal article published in July 2025 that reported Trump sent a "lewd"
birthday card to Epstein in 2003; Trump has repeatedly said the card was forged.
