Hamas said on the 28th that intensified Israeli military operations risked
collapse of the phase-one Gaza ceasefire. It said an Israeli strike on the
evening of the 27th hit a residential building in Gaza City, killing 10 people,
including two children and two women, and wounding dozens; more than 20 people
were killed in the past 48 hours amid the escalations. Hamas urged the United
States and ceasefire guarantors to condemn Israel’s breaches and take effective
measures to compel compliance with the agreement.
