USHAKOV said on the 28th the United States is unlikely to immediately accede to
Ukraine's request for additional air-defence systems and missiles; he added it
remains doubtful the US will "immediately satisfy" Zelenskiy's weapons request
and that Zelenskiy has likely written to Washington several times. Separately,
the US State Department on the 21st approved a $108.1m sale of equipment to
support operation of Hawk air-defence missile systems.
