Precious metals futures front-month contracts rose across the board: Shanghai silver extended gains to 3.01% at 18,483 yuan/kg, Shanghai gold climbed over 2.0% to 987.76 yuan/g. Platinum futures gained nearly 2%, palladium rose more than 1%.
