Since Feb. 28, when the U.S. and Israel began military operations against Iran,
more than 90 days have elapsed; although the conflict is described as paused,
Ongoing deployments continue to drive U.S. military spending. Independent
tracker Iran War Cost Tracker reports U.S. spending on the campaign has exceeded
$95.5 bln to date, citing a Department of Defense report to Congress that put
costs at $11.3 bln in the first six days and an estimated subsequent daily burn
of about $1.0 bln. The tracker’s total aggregates personnel deployments,
warships, logistics and other associated support costs.
