Lebanese and Israeli military delegations failed to agree a ceasefire at
US-mediated talks in Washington, Lebanese officials said early on the 30th.
Prime Minister Netanyahu confirms a major Israeli force has crossed the Litani
River in southern Lebanon. Lebanese officials said their delegation repeatedly
