India's Defense Minister Singh told the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore that,
to his knowledge, an agreement to sell BrahMos cruise missiles to Vietnam has
been signed though it may not yet be publicly announced. He said New Delhi is
also in the final stages of talks with Indonesia and Vietnam on sales of the
system. The BrahMos, developed jointly by India and Russia, has a range of at
at least 380 km.
