IBM (IBM.N) rose more than 12%, Oracle (ORCL.N) gained over 10% and Qualcomm (QCOM.O) climbed over 3%. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index was flat; Baidu (BIDU.O) +2.4%, Alibaba (BABA.N) -1.5%. For the month the S&P 500 advanced 5.15%, the Nasdaq 8.36% and the Dow 2.78%. The S&P 500 extended its weekly winning streak to nine weeks, the longest run since December 2023.

New rates: 150 yuan per adult on routes over 800 km and 80 yuan per adult on routes of 800 km or less—reductions of 20 yuan and 10 yuan respectively from previous levels. The change will partly lower passenger travel costs.
